This time, I came to Dongcheng, Dongguan to connect with the manufacturing supply chain project. I chose to stay at Dongguan DongCheng International Hotel as my final destination. I dragged two large boxes of project samples out of Dongguan Metro Line 2 in the evening and walked for ten minutes to the hotel entrance. The doorman came up from afar and picked up the heaviest box, delivering it all the way to the lobby. The warm toned crystal lamp casts a soft light, without the pungent decoration smell of a new hotel, replaced by a calm texture that has been accumulated for many years. When checking in, the front desk noticed that my shoes had some mud stains from the industrial park. There is a washing machine with a drying function hidden in the wardrobe. Dusty work clothes can be thrown in and worn directly the next day after washing and drying, without having to travel with dirty clothes. Even if you want to have a cup of hot Guangdong herbal tea late at night, just call the front desk and it will arrive at the door of your room in ten minutes.
The experience of breakfast was also far more than expected. It was not a fancy but tasteless self-service. The freshly cooked Cantonese Wonton noodles were fresh with bone soup, and the shrimp dumplings could eat the whole shrimp. Even the local special Guanxiang cakes were made soft, glutinous and sweet. After breakfast, I went downstairs to the gym to run for half an hour. The equipment was kept clean, and the green plants outside the landing window made me feel comfortable. I didn't have to take the time to go out to find the sports venue.
The most amazing thing is its location, it takes only ten minutes to walk to Dongcheng subway station, and there are expressways directly to the industrial parks of Songshan Lake and Humen, so you don't have to worry about traffic jams during the morning rush hour. The surrounding commercial district can be reached by taking a turn downstairs. In the evening, after finishing the exhibition, I invited my colleagues to have an authentic Dongguan roasted goose and walked slowly back to the hotel in just ten minutes.
I used to think that most business hotels in Dongguan only do "passing business" and it's inevitable to settle in, but this time I realized that Dongguan DongCheng International Hotel really understands the needs of guests.
